PREORDERS Are Open For Issue #4!

Preorders are open now for the fourth issue of our zine, The Lantern! Featuring exclusively LGBTQIA+ creators from the DC Metro area, The Lantern is an exploration and a celebration of the myriad experiences of being LGBTQIA+ while living in and around our nation's capital. In a region torn between Southern history and the epicenter of present day politics, our local culture is a vibrant scene of activism through love.

The Lantern is an annual zine that focuses on teen and adult experiences. While the zine acts as a fundraiser for NoVA Prism Center, it is primarily a showcase of local creators and perspectives.

PREORDER INFO: 

• The current issue of The Lantern is open for pre-orders on a Pay-what-you-can basis!
• A pre-order of any amount will receive a digital copy of the zine. Further preorder tiers will receive print copies of Issue #4, and may also include print copies of back issues! Print copies will be shipped at no extra cost.
• Digital copies will be sent via email on our Release Date of October 25th, 2025. Print copies will be shipped within 4-6 weeks after publication or ordering date, whichever is later.
• The Lantern operates on a profit-share model, and contributors receive a minimum honorarium. If we get enough pre-orders, we'll be able to share more with our contributors! After the current issue is released, all further proceeds support NoVA Prism Center programs and services.
